Cancellation/Inclement Weather Policy

Please review our entire policy related to cancellations and inclement weather.

Inclement Weather:
BDJ Party Rentals cannot guarantee weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your rental prior to delivery if severe weather conditions are imminent, or if we have reason to believe that the inflatable equipment and/or riders may be in danger. However, unless the weather is so bad as to risk our equipment or the safety of the users, we will leave the decision up to you since your area might not be as affected by weather conditions as another.

Some examples of severe weather include high winds (sustained winds over 25 miles per hour), excessive rain, severe cold weather or snow, and lightening.

In the event of severe weather during the rental of an inflatable (bounce house, combo, slide, etc), the customer is to immediately instruct all riders to exit the unit, unplug the inflatable and allow it to deflate. Use of the inflatable should not resume until the severe weather has ended.

In the event of severe weather during the rental of a tent/canopy, the customer is to immediately have all guests vacate the tent and move away to a safe location. Contact our office as soon as possible and inform us of the situation, so that we can determine if the tent/canopy needs to be taken down.

Weather Related Cancellations:
All cancellations due to weather will adhere to the following policy.

For weather-only related cancellations received between the day of the event and 14 days prior to the event date, the deposit amount is not refunded. We will issue a raincheck for the deposit amount that will be good for 1 year from the date issued. Any payments made beyond the deposit amount will be refunded with no Cancellation Fee. *Raincheck terms and conditions apply.

Same day cancellations due to weather will only follow the policy above if the cancellation is received BEFORE the order has left the warehouse.

However, there will be NO refunds of any kind once the order has left our warehouse for delivery and/or has been set up; we have to pay our employees for their hard work and time and therefore will retain the full payment regardless of use.

Non Peak Season/Holiday Cancellations:
Non-Peak Season = November 1 � April 30

All cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, non-weather related, during the non-peak season (with the exception of holidays and holiday weekends) will adhere to the following policy.

All payments will be fully refunded (less the 3.5% processing fees) for cancellations received 15 days or more prior to the scheduled event date. Please note, credit card processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

For cancellations received between 2-14 days prior to the event date, the deposit amount will not be refunded. Although, we will issue a raincheck for the deposit amount that will be good for 1 year from the date issued. Any payments made beyond the deposit amount will be refunded with no Cancellation Fee. *Raincheck terms and conditions apply.

For cancellations received the day prior to the event, the deposit amount will not be refunded. Although, we will issue a raincheck for the deposit amount that will be good for 1 year from the date issued. Any payments made beyond the deposit amount will be refunded, minus a cancellation fee of 15% of the order. *Raincheck terms and conditions apply.

There are no refunds for cancellations of orders on the day of the event.

There will be NO refunds of any kind for cancellations once the order has left our warehouse for delivery and/or has been set up; we have to pay our employees for their hard work and time and therefore will retain the full payment regardless of use.

Cancellations During Peak Season and/or Holidays
Peak Season: May 1 � October 31
Holidays and Holiday Weekends (if holiday falls on/near a weekend, policy applies to that weekend): New Years Eve/Day; Easter (all weekend); Spring Break (local school breaks); Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Halloween; Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve/Day


All cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, non-weather related, with event dates in the peak rental season, on holidays or holiday weekends will adhere to the following policy.

Security deposits and payments will be fully refunded (less the 3.5% processing fee) for cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the scheduled event date, with no Cancellation Fee. Please note, credit card processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

For cancellations received between 15-30 days prior to the event date, the deposit amount will not be refunded. Although, we will issue a raincheck for the deposit amount, which is good for 1 year from the date issued. Any payments made beyond the deposit amount will be refunded with no Cancellation Fee. *Raincheck terms and conditions apply.

For cancellations between 3-14 days prior to the event date, the deposit will not be refunded. Although, we will issue a raincheck for the deposit amount, which is good for 1 year from the date issued, and a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the entire order will be charged. Any payments made beyond the deposit amount, minus the Cancellation Fee, will be refunded. *Raincheck terms and conditions apply.

Cancellations between 1-2 days prior to the event date, the deposit will not be refunded. Although, we will issue a raincheck for the deposit amount, which is good for 1 year from the date issued, and a Cancellation Fee of 25% of the entire order will be charged. Any payments made beyond the deposit amount, minus the Cancellation Fee, will be refunded. *Raincheck terms and conditions apply.

There are no refunds for cancellations of orders on the day of the event.

There will be NO refunds of any kind for cancellations once the order has left our warehouse for delivery and/or has been set up; we have to pay our employees for their hard work and time and therefore will retain the full payment regardless of use.

Raincheck Terms and Conditions:
Rainchecks must be used for an event scheduled within one year of the issued date, regardless of the date on which the order is placed. Rainchecks cannot be used for an event scheduled after the expiration date. Rainchecks must be used in full at the time of checkout. If your order is less than the raincheck amount, the remainder will not be refunded and cannot be used on any future orders. Once a raincheck has been redeemed on an order, that raincheck cannot be refunded nor reissued in the case of another cancellation.
